Terms & Penalties
- Terms 3 - 12 months: Up to 90 days’ dividends may be forfeited on the amount withdrawn.
- Terms greater than 12 months up to less than 36 months: Up to 180 days’ dividends may be forfeited on the amount withdrawn.
- Terms of 36 months or longer: Up to 365 days’ dividends may be forfeited on the amount withdrawn.
The stated APY assumes that both principal and dividends remain on deposit until maturity. Withdrawing dividends before maturity will reduce earning. Withdrawn dividends may be taxable; members should consult a tax advisor for guidance specific to their situation. Renewals
Certificates automatically renew at maturity at the standard rate in effect for the same term. You will have a 7-day grace period starting on the maturity date to withdraw funds or change the term without incurring a penalty. Certificate rates are fixed at the time of opening and again at the time of renewal.
