Take Advantage of Temporary Interest Rates
A bump-rate certificate account lets you increase the rate one time during its term for higher dividends, earning you more money. Simply log in to America First online banking and click on Open a Certificate Account in the QuickLinks box. You can also open bump-rate certificates with mobile banking, at any America First branch, or by calling our member service center.

Benefits of a Bump-rate Certificate Account
Terms for certificates are usually between three months and five years. You’ll typically earn more dividends during this time than with a traditional savings account.
With a bump-rate certificate account, you can adjust your interest rate once during the account’s lifespan. This will let you take advantage of a better rate when the time comes, earning you more money.

APY = Annual Percentage Yield. Early-withdrawal penalties may apply. Dividends are credited monthly. Maintenance or activity fees could reduce the earnings on the account. No minimum balance is required for Dedicated Savings. Flexible Certificates and Dedicated Savings allow additional deposits of up to $10,000 each calendar month. Each member is limited to $100,000 in any one or combination of Flexible Certificate accounts, and $100,000 in any one or combination of Dedicated Savings accounts.
