There are a few ways you can deposit money to fund your CD: ### Set up transactions online through CIBC US Online Banking Set up a one-time transfer into your Agility CD from other financial institutions Set up a direct deposit or an Automatic Clearing House (ACH) debit from an account from another financial institution ### Make an internal transfer Transfer funds from another deposit account you own with CIBC Bank USA ### Send us a check Make your check payable to CIBC Bank USA and include your account number on the memo line before sending it to the following address: CIBC Bank US c/o Agility Accounts 6825 West 111th St Worth, IL 60482 What are the minimum and maximum deposits for the CIBC Agility CD? The minimum deposit to open a CD is $1,000. The maximum initial deposit is $5,000,000. Can I add more funds to a CD once it's open? No, but you can open a new CD at the current rate and term. How do you calculate interest and when is interest added to my account? Interest is compounded and credited to your account on a monthly basis. Can I withdraw my monthly interest? At this time, we don't offer automated withdrawal of monthly interest. We'll notify you before your CD matures. Your account will automatically renew at maturity, unless you withdraw your funds or give us written notice. You'll have a 10-day grace period after the maturity date to withdraw your money without paying an early withdrawal fee. We can choose not to renew your CD if we notify you by mail at least 10 days before maturity. If you decide not to renew your CD, or if we decide not to renew your CD, you won't earn interest after the maturity date. The terms and rates at renewal vary and may not be the same as the currently listed rates. Is my Agility CD account FDIC-insured? Yes. CIBC Bank USA is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Your funds in Agility accounts are FDIC-insured up to applicable limits. Can I use my CD as collateral?
