Privacy policy
Effective October 22, 2026. Updated October 22, 2026 to describe Google Analytics.
What we collect
We do not ask for an account. The calculators work on the numbers you type and we do not store them. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read, so we know which institutions and calculators to improve. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to tell visits apart and receives your IP address and browser details; Google processes this data under its privacy policy. We have set it up to collect as little as possible:
- It records the page address without its query string, so the amounts you enter in a calculator and any ZIP code you choose are never sent. The referring address is sent without its query string too.
- Google signals and ad personalization are turned off. We do not use Analytics data for advertising.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, Google Analytics does not load at all.
You can also block it with Google's opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies for this site.
Selling or sharing personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as described above.
Email alerts
Rate alerts are not available yet. When they are, we will use your email address only to send the alerts you ask for, and every email will include a one-click unsubscribe link.
